A corporate visionary, excellent communicator, and operational leader, Lauren Kaufman Blachman brings 35 years of professional coaching and consulting experience to her clients. With a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, her expertise lies in maximizing human talent to create organizational success. Since founding Kaufman Blachman Consulting 25 years ago, Lauren has helped individuals, teams, and organizations enhance their performance through customized, dynamic programs and consulting assignments that complement overall business goals and objectives. Lauren has helped industry leaders, global businesses, and organizations of all sizes illuminate and achieve their potential.

Lauren’s success began at Bankers Trust in New York, where she led campus recruitment efforts worldwide. During her tenure, she directed the human resource function that helped build the company’s Latin American merchant banking department, a highly profitable endeavor with more than 500 employees in 12 countries.
She then worked at Texas Commerce Bank (now, JP Morgan Chase), where she helped direct the redesign and process improvement efforts of the human resource function while simultaneously establishing a strategic planning and quality department.
Certified in both the Birkman Method and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Lauren’s business proficiencies and leadership and training experience give her the expertise needed to advise clients on developing strategies to maximize performance. As a senior consultant and executive coach, she helps executives and managers of all levels identify and leverage their potential to drive business results, motivate their teams, and enhance performance. Her direct, bottom-line-oriented approach and skills-based coaching give individuals and teams the tools to implement immediately to drive individual, team, and organizational change.

Outside of professional coaching and consulting, Lauren is an active community leader and volunteer, lending her expertise and time to a variety of community causes.
She has led key initiatives at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston (ERJCC) and recently served as president of its board of directors. She is a member of The Emery/Weiner School executive committee, and a past president of The Shlenker School, and currently serves on the board of Joan Karff's Women on the Way Up, a non-profit benefitting underserved high school women in Houston. Lauren is a member of the Association fpr Talent Development, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Birkman User Group.
